CALL FOR PAPERS
5th European Lisp Workshop
The Association of Lisp Users holds conferences in major cities
around the world. We are in the process of planning our next
International Lisp Conference which will be held in Cambridge,
Massachusetts.
Old News
Our last International
Lisp Conference was held in Cambridge, UK from April 1st to 4th
2007 with 128 people in attendence. The proceedings of the 2007
conference are available for sale from Lispworks
Ltd.
The annual
meeting of the ALU will take place in room LG18 of the Faculty of
Law, West Road, Cambridge (UK), at 5pm on Tuesday 2007-04-03. In
other words, it'll be in the same place as, and immediately following
on from, the ILC's last speaker for the day. Anyone who attends ILC
2007, or who is a paid-up member of the ALU, is cordially invited to
attend the meeting and will be entitled to speak and vote. This
meeting is your chance to influence the direction the ALU will take
over the coming year.
Our last
conference was hosted at Stanford University in June 2005, with
around 140 attendees, over 40 speakers
plus a full day of tutorials.
The proceedings of the 2005 conference (400 page book) are
unfortunately now out of stock, but slide presentations and some audio
recordings are available here
for free download.
The ALU is proud to announce
that we are once again hosting a Wiki devoted to discussion of all
things Lisp.
The ALU 2007 membership drive is
under way. Kindly support the ALU and the ILC series of
conferences. The ALU is a not-for-profit organization that relies
entirely on community support.
